Vingt-et-un or 21 is a popular game in the casinos which is a card game played typically between a single dealer and 6-8 players on a table where the dealer faces the players. When dealt with the cards you are allowed to make certain choices and these are popularly known as the player decisions.
Surrender: this is a choice that you can make to fold your hand at the cost of half the original bet you have placed. However, there are certain limitations for the use of this choice. Also, there are 2 major ways that this is used, early surrender and late surrender. It should be noted that not all games allow you to surrender and that this is no longer a choice you can make after you split your hand or draw the third card or even double down. Early surrender is where you fold your hand before the dealer checks his cards and hence you are at a great advantage of folding even if the dealer has a black jack. On the other hand a late surrender is where dealer checks his hand and allows you to fold only if he doesn’t have a blackjack.
Hit or Stand: the most made decisions in the game. Allow you to continue drawing or stop further drawing a card.
Double down: you are allowed to add an equal amount of bet that you placed originally when you have only 2 cards. By doing this you can draw only one card to finish your total.
